Entrepreneurial, ambitious and outgoing are just a few words to describe Shelly. Beginning her professional career as one of a handful of account executives in a small meeting in Meridian, MS, she worked her way up the corporate ladder by establishing systems to successfully hire, train and maintain account executives. To be efficient and effective in managing operations, marketing, and customer service, Shelly developed an expertise for carefully selecting a management team of positive people who support each other through a common vision of success. Her passion to help others grow both personally and professionally was contagious. Passing along her proven sales skills and strategy to create more leaders like herself, Shelly achieved great success and ultimately became a senior-level sales manager that created a multi-million dollar company.

Shelly’s priorities would soon change in October of 2002 with the birth of her daughter, McKinnon. Shelly transitioned into the Real Estate Industry where she focused on maximizing her own potential. She began her real estate career in Starkville with Coldwell Banker, SRE, assisting clients with each step of the home buying and home selling process. In 2004, she partnered with 2 seasoned agents, Tricia Buckner and Kim Stevens, to create The Starkville Home Team, an award winning, top producing real estate team. Today, she finds herself in a similar role in Clinton, MS, leading her real estate team Sell Smart Mississippi of Century 21 David Stevens, Inc.
